Responsibilities include but are not limited to: dictation transcription, calendaring appointments reminders and deadlines, upkeep of task list, filing, processing client intakes, and maintenance of paper and electronic files. Responsibilities:
– Provide clerical and administrative support to attorneys and legal professionals
– Organize and maintain files, documents, and records in physical and electronic formats
– Utilize document management systems to store, retrieve, and track legal documents
– Transcribe dictations, correspondence, and legal documents accurately and efficiently
– Assist with contract preparation, review, and editing
– Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
– Answer phone calls and handle inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
– Perform data entry tasks to update client information and case details

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
– Proficiency in using document management systems and other legal software
– Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
– Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
– Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
